| What does my Chinese tattoo mean? |
One of the most common inquiries I receive is from people who already have a Chinese tattoo, and want to confirm it's meaning. Of course, the best time to ask me such questions is BEFORE getting the tattoo, but that doesn't always happen. Responding to these inquiries has become rather time consuming, so I'm now offering two options: 1) Free translation / confirmation of your Chinese tattoo's meaning (public)In exchange for a free review of your tattoo, you give me the right to use your tattoo photo as a sample -- good or bad. Other websites do this without informing you, but I prefer to get your permission. Since the photo and response to your inquiry will be public, I suggest taking the photo of your tattoo without your face or other personally identifying information in view. If your Chinese tattoo is incorrect, I will try to make suggestions for how you might fix it. But I cannot guarantee that this will be possible. For your free translation/confirmation, please use the form below. 2) Paid confirmation of the meaning of your Chinese tattoo (private)To keep all information and images confidential, simply register for my basic Chinese tattoo consultation. If you've already done that and wish to submit a consultation request, simply use the form below. Do not check the "free/permission" box under the form. |
