My sincere warning to anyone using online galleries to find a Chinese tattoo:

• Many of the Chinese/English translations that you'll find in online tattoo galleries are either incomplete, or completely incorrect. It's really sad to see people posting photos of themselves with a tattoo that means something very different from what they expected.
• There are many people who have printed photos from the Internet for tattoo artists, only to find afterwards that the online image was mirrored (reversed), so they ended up with characters/symbols tattooed in the wrong direction. To anyone who is able to read Chinese, this looks ridiculous.

• If you already know the English wording/idea for the tattoo that you want, I will help you create a custom tattoo design.
• Once you've decided on a design, you'll view my hand-picked collection of 30 Chinese fonts and choose the one that most appeals to you. I'll then send you a PDF of the characters in your desired dimensions which you can take directly to your tattoo parlor for inking.
• I do not charge any additional fees based on the number of characters a tattoo includes (most other Chinese tattoo artists do).

 SERVICE LEVEL 2   For Tattoo Parlors Only

• This option allows tattoo parlors to provide their clients unlimited access to my Chinese tattoo database from a computer terminal within their establishment, or by sharing a temporary login with customers to use at home. Individuals: please ask your tattoo parlor if they're a member - they must provide an access code to you directly.
• Your customer will be be able to select a font from my collection, and I'll provide a PDF of their tattoo with notations for "Left / Right / Top / Bottom" so there is no confusion for tracing.
• This option Includes 10 database translation confirmations (and PDF creation) for your customers. For 10 more, you can simply register again.

A little about me:

• I was born and raised in Hong Kong, received training on both traditional and simplified Chinese calligraphy for several years, and speak fluent Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese).
• I am a UCLA graduate, completely fluent in English, familiar with American/Western culture, and an expert in providing Chinese translations that incorporate cross-cultural issues and explanations.
• I now live in San Francisco's Chinatown / North Beach neighborhood.
